There is something magical about walking over this bridge at night time. I love it - it is my favourite form of exercise on a hot summer's night, and my favourite view as the sun is setting. And now, I get to share my love of this bridge with you one more time.
Park your car at either end of the bridge. Choose carefully which end of the bridge you park at! The wrong end, and you're in for a long long walk. The right end, and... well... still a long walk, though slightly shorter
. Either way, this is a beautiful walk, and highly recommended at night. Those so inclined might enjoy cycling, skating, roller blading, scootering, or otherwise involve wheels in their mode of transport to the cache. On the day I placed the cache, I walked more than 4 km, so please choose sensible footwear.
You are encouraged to post photos of the view along the way. Can you see the sand dunes of Moreton Island? The lights of the Port of Brisbane?
Make your way to the posted coordinates, where you will find a light pole. On that pole you will find a white number, and seven black numbers. Reading top to bottom, these numbers are ABCDEFGH.
The cache can be found at S 27 1(A+3).B(C+6)(D-3) E153 0(E-4).(F+2)(G+3)(H-2). That's it! A simple two step multi. Nothing complicated, just a bridge, a view, a lovely walk and a cache.
Have fun, and don't forget to smell the roses along the way.
