Yokohama Commercial High School is the oldest existing public high school in Kanagawa prefecture.
It is nicknamed Y school (Y-ko) from the Y mark on the uniform of the baseball club.
Y-ko baseball club participated in Koshien 9 times in the spring and 7 times in the summer. In recent years, Y-ko baseball club has moved away from participating in Koshien. I look forward to the revival of public high schools.
At the 2020 draft meeting, members were nominated for second place at Softbank. It is the first time in 37 years that a player enrolled in the school has been nominated for a draft.
Boats can enter the Ooka River. The boat club and table tennis club are also famous.

Y校野球部は春９回、夏7回甲子園に出場しました。近年、Y校野球部は甲子園出場から遠ざかっています。神奈川県は私立の強豪校揃いの中、公立高校の復活を期待します！
2020年のドラフト会議で部員がソフトバンクに2位指名されました。同校に在学中の選手がドラフトに指名されるのは37年ぶりです。
大岡川へボートが入水できるようになっています。ボート部や卓球部の活躍も有名です。
