Go to waypoint 1 and do some math to find the final location of the cache. (You may want to have a piece of paper and a pen/pencil handy once you find waypoint 1.)
At waypoint 1 you will find a marker. Waypoint 1 is not always winter friendly, especially after a fresh snow fall.
Now using the year stamped on the marker, convert to ABCD where A is the first digit and D is the last digit, then complete this field puzzle to find the location of the cache.
North (C-D)(B-C-A)° (B-C-D)(C-A).(B-A)(C-D)(A+D)
West (D-A)(B-C-A)(C-A-D)° (B-D-C)(B-D).(B-C-D)(D+C)(D+A)
The cache is winter friendly but please handle with care. There is no need to remove the main container from it's hiding spot. A log and a pencil are inside.
