Geocache Description:

To access this cache you must first cross the Auchindrean Bridge which crosses the River Broom. This bridge is believed to be unique in Scotland, being a lenticular-truss wrought-iron bridge. It was designed in 1870 by Sir John Fowler, 1st Baronet who owned the Braemore and Inverbroom Esates. He later designed The Forth Railway Bridge.

After crossing the bridge turn left, through the gate onto the Auchindrean Path. The cache is hidden inside the gate. It is a small plastic tube containing a FTF badge, logsheet, pencil and some small swaps.

The cache is not hidden to the left of the gate as, sadly, this area seems to be used by irresponsible dog-walkers. It is advisable not to walk on the grass there.
