There is an old ore mill in this area and there is a cache there already. We traveled up the switchback road a little ways and I found another spot. I was told that this was where the mill collected it's water in order to process the ore received from neighboring mines. Eventually, the water level in the tanks was too hard to maintain and the mill couldn't run.
