We are a geocaching family, and we hid this one in a spot we enjoy: Mt. Gilboa. Tucked in a residential neighborhood, this conservation land is open to the public and has 0.7 miles of trails over 10 acres. At the highest point (95m), you can see all the way to Boston.
There are a few entrances to Mt. Gilboa. We put the trailhead at the entrance off Alpine Street.
We named this geocache after our late cat (Toby) who loved to climb and was masterful at escaping outside.
This cache is small. You will need to bring your own pen to sign the log scroll.
Beware of poison ivy all over Mt. Gilboa in the summertime!
