Geocache Description:

Westside Best Side 3/4

This beautiful wooded park lies right beyond the parking lots of Star Provisions or Topgolf, both of which have free parking. It's not very built-up so you could get muddy but it does have a legitimate path so no bushwacking or compasses necessary. The cache is along the path.

To find the cache:

Deep within the urban wood
Of the Blandtown neighborhood,
Lies a cache awaiting you
Beyond not one bridge, but two.

Find thee the second,
And at your feet will beckon
Just at your right,
A glimmer of white.

Under logs and sticks it might be 'neath,
Ensure just as you found or better you bequeath.

Here's a little history of the area, courtesy of abridged Wikipedia:
Blandtown was one of the first Black settlements of Atlanta following the civil war. Until the 1950s, the community thrived. Railroads meant that industries abounded in the area, including a mill, a fertilizer factory and a stockyard. In 1956, however, the city rezoned the area from residential to heavy industrial. Slowly but surely residents left. Today, it is part of the rapidly gentrifying "Upper Westside" of Atlanta, and the history of Blandtown is fading as condos, apartments, expensive restaurants and retail settle in the area.
