Old remain of the Richardsville Mill, now part of the City of
Campbellton, was closed around the 1920s. One wall remains, there
is a painting that has decayed since the last time I was here and
some concrete pillars. I grew up in this area and can remember
swimming there when I was a kid and going home with my shorts full
of saw dust 20 years ago. You can still find saw dust on the beach,
the mill use to dispose of it into the river. I forgot about the
view and you can still find remains of machinery and the old dock.
I found an old horse shoe on the beach the day I set the cache.
May be difficult to locate in the winter.
