Edingley Old School Room was originally built in 1911 as the Church School. It was funded by public subscription and was the village school until 1962. From then until 2005 it was the independent Edgehill School.
In 2012, the voluntary Edingley Old Schoolroom Association was launched and enabled the village to buy the hall, convert and modernise it, providing a village hall facility for the village for the very first time.
The formal opening took place on 16 September 2017.
