THIS IS THE FIRST CACHE PLACED IN JEFF CITY!!! In a nice park over looking the Missouri River
This cache is now an ammo box. It contains numerous keychains and I would like to keep this one on a keychain theme. It also contains a pencil and logbook. Bring your camera for some nice views of the river. Look for a trail that is not real obvious but runs along the top of the bluff. It is not an established trail but has been there since I was a kid. If you take something be sure to replace it and have fun with this one.....This Park is still known as Riverside Park to most of the locals but has been given a new name "Ellis Porter Park" by the local politicians.Please cover this one well even if it is off the beaten path...Thanks
(Update 10/10/15: The cache now has both key chains and other swag. The cache has been moved from it's original hiding place to a spot that offers a bit more cover and better hiding places. It's also off the beaten path. To keep with it's original listing, the difficulty/terrain levels will kept the same. D/T ratings have changed somewhat since then. You can expect this to be more like at 2.5/1.5. Since this cache is in a new location, you are welcome to re-find this cache and re-log it too. Thanks Thunder_Monk for bringing Geocaching to Jefferson City so many years ago! We're keeping the tradition going. Lazylightning.)
