Geocache Description:

The Spring, c.1700.

Attention - If anyone is local to the Duplin County area, that would like to take over this cache, send me a message.
additional edit - I have now turned on message notifications.  If you are interested in adopting this cache, let me know.  Since I live in Kansas, I have no clue on any improvements or changes that could be made.  And maybe there are none.

NOTE: No internet finds allowed. If you don't e-mail me the answer to the question, you shouldn't be logging the cache and I will delete your log entry. I'm getting a lot of logs from Europe (especially Germany) and posting the certificate. I know for a fact that you are not physically visiting this cache. Please stop. E-mail me the title of the person that donated the land.

I figured since there was one cache within a half-mile of this location, I would make this a virtual cache also. I used to stop by this cache to quench my thirst on those hot, humid days in North Carolina.

To verify you have visited this cache, fill in the blank found on the plaque of the person who donated the land, ________ James Pearsall.

Be sure to visit the Cowan Museum cache also.
