*If you are a letterboxer you know what to do with the stamp. If you are not a letterboxer, do not be discouraged! You can still find this! It is literally a Multi-cache, just sign your name on the logbook as you always would.
**Please look at the table at the bottom for info on what to bring and what to do and not do.
About the Park:
Bruin Park. I loved coming here as a kid. I remember fondly having picnics and playing on what I thought was the "coolest and most biggest playground ever!". One specific memory I have here is climbing one of those huge trees outside the tennis courts and a man walking by astonished at how I got up there, and that I was still going. Those were my early tree climbing days, and although I have utilized that honed skill in many of my other caches, I will not be forcing you to reenact my stunt for this one.
The park has tennis courts, an expansive playground, a baseball field, and an open field. There is space for a ton of activites and lots of fun. The other nice aspect of the park is that it is sorta secluded so there are not to many, if any people here. It is definitely not usually bustling like many other parks nearby. (Although hopefully it may start becoming crowded with geocachers
.) But really, do enjoy the park while you are here.
Cache Info:
This cache is a 3 stage letterbox. The first stage is at the posted coordinates and it is a TOTT you will need for the second stage. NB: If you feel you have the sufficient tools, you can head straight to S2. The second stage will provide you with a riddle on how to find the final which is a rewarding large packed with a bunch of fun goodies! My hope in placing this cache is that you have as much fun when coming to this park as I do.
Instructions on how to get to S2 once you've found S1: Walk west along the fence you are now on until you reach another fencew running perpendicular the first fence. Head along that fence until you spot something that you can use your Tool Of The Trade on. Be stealthy!
This cache is placed in a pre-approved park for caches within Fairfax County, and closes at dark, so no night caching.
