The Wilgie Hill Siding was designed as a wayside halt for the railways called Redhill and was opened in January 1921 and renamed Wilgie Hill in April.This area was used for timber by Millars until 1905 who then sold the railway to the government (WAGR) in 1908.
The cache is magnetic mint tin on the Torbay Rail Trail near some information of pioneers in the area which is a must read.
