Located inside Oglebay Park, this cache takes you through some
mature forest. A good starting point would be Camp Russell near the
zoo.Park at the end of the lot and go down the powerline along the
chainlink fence to get a good start.
A slippery walk/slide to the bottom of a small ravine.The trails
to this one haven't been well maintained as there are a couple of
trees down and a few slides from past rains.It will take a bit of a
hike to get there, but not a long one. Be prepaired to tackle some
steep and slippery slopes.
PLEASE TRY TO FOLLOW THE ESTABLISHED TRAILS as they discourage
off trail hiking here. Don't follow the arrow the last 250'or so
please follow the trail down to the ravine
Cache is now a 30.cal ammo can its new contents when adopted on
6-29-05 - Log book,pen,laser pointer,nascar keychain,watch,sim
coster game,floating keychain,some WV camping $$ and a new white
jeep.
This was the first regular cache my son and I did on 2-21-04,and
the only regular cache in the Wheeling area at the time ! ! So I am
happy to adopt this cache
