The location of the old Ravenden school house Traditional Cache

This is location of one of the earliest schools in Ravenden. A new brick schoolhouse was built in 1918 and remained in use until consolidation with Sloan-Hendrix in Imboden (Lawrence County) in the 1940s. After the school consolidation the location became the site of the Ravenden Community Center that now encompasses the Police Department and Water Department.
