War Memorial ~ Huttons Ambo

 

 

ERECTED IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF HUTTON'S AMBO WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES

IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1919.

AND

IN THE WAR OF 1939-1945.

LEST WE FORGET.

 

 

 

The memorial takes the form of a small stone cross with a 3 step stone base, a slightly tapered stone shaft and a 3 crown stone head.

The Yorkshire Gazette [Malton 7/8/1915] contained a list of those who enlisted as well as some pictures of those individuals.

 



To solve this multi-cache you will need to obtain the following information:

A = Total No. of fallen heroes

B = No. of heroes with the Christian name George

C = No. of letters in the middle name of David Wilson

D = No. of letters in Private Fox’s Christian name

E = No. of heroes whose surname begins with the letter B
