Geocache Description:

Come and enjoy a walk in a little wild place along the shores of Pequawket Pond in Conway. You will hear the clanking gravel pit, but may also hear the trilling toads. You will hear cars zooming by on Rte. 16, but may also hear catbirds mimicking and red-winged blackbirds announcing themselves from the cattails.

The cache is at one end of a side trail. It is a preform bottle. BYOP.

The trickiest part may be finding the parking. Parking is at the “end” of Bridge Street, when approached from Cranmore Shores Road. If you are following your GPS and it tells you to turn onto Bridge Street from Route 16, you will get very close to the parking location, but with no place to park and only a footbridge leading to the trail. So, you must first get onto Cranmore Shores Road, then onto Bridge Street. It might be useful to study a map...or even satellite image, to fathom this.
