Geocache Description:

A micro log only cache hidden next to the Catskill Creek in Oak Hill, bring a pen

The Catskill Creek is a 46.0-mile-long tributary of the Hudson River that drains the northeastern Catskill Mountains.  From its source at Franklinton Vlaie in Schoharie County it flows southeast through parts of Albany County and Greene County to its mouth at the village of Catskill on the Hudson River.  Just after I placed this cache a DEC Fish Truck stopped on the nearby bridge and dropped a bunch of Brown Trout into the creek.  Spring 2021 Trout Stocking for Greene County - NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation .  There is a benchmark on the nearby bridge as well.  Geocaching > Benchmark Hunting > Benchmark Details
