If you’ve ever hidden a geocache (or found one!), a geocaching community volunteer helped make it happen. These expert geocachers review each geocache placed to ensure it meets the geocaching guidelines and regional policies.
Geocaching community volunteers keep this game in motion, keeping cache owners on their toes and new geocaches are published far and wide. In the past year, the pandemic has added a new layer of challenges onto the normal tasks for the community volunteers, and they have weathered the storm admirably.
To celebrate thank you volunteer day on the 22nd of May 2021 we have published this cache dedicated to our local reviewer Long Man who has the thankless task of keeping all the cache owners in check and who we have given plenty of headaches over the past year which we thank him for his patience. He remains anonymous to us, we only know his name, but he has regularly sent us e-mails telling us when we have and haven't broken the rules.
The cache will not be found at the published co-ordinates, but parking will, you will need to solve the puzzle to get the cache co-ordinates.
