Geocache Description:

When we are out in the woods, if we pay attention, we can hear many things. When I placed this cache, I was serenaded by a Carolina Wren. We heard a vehicle on the train tracks and then a train. We were a little too far away at this location to hear the babbling of Reed Run. We also heard blue jays, woodpeckers, and a wood thrush. What will you hear if you listen?

The small tube container is a step or two above the trail in wood at eye level. Please replace it as found so that it isn't seen accidentally by muggles. But it doesn't have or need cover. Just put it back as you found it.

There are other caches along this trail and a stage of my Scenic Susquehanna Adventure Lab at House Rock. This is a substantial hike.

Note that the Conestoga Trail has been re-routed away from the trail going by this cache. You can take the old trail from Overlooked Overlooks on north to Reed Run stream crossing near the camping area on the south. But the Lancaster Conservancy folks were very good at blacking out the orange and blue blazes.
