This Cache is placed as part of the 2021 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. Please see FA1 Swampside for more information. This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item.
This cache is a regular size lock-and-lock hidden on the yellow-marked Hubbard Loop trail. It is not located at the posted coordinates. Those take you to a notable feature along the trail, behind which you will find a field puzzle that, when solved, will provide the location of the final. The additional waypoints indicate the intersection of the Hubbard Loop trail with the School Mountain Road trail.
Park at the Hubbard Lodge parking area off Route 9. The parking is along both sides of the road leading to Hubbard Lodge. Please obey the no parking signs and do not block the private driveways. We encountered significant GPS bounce when placing these caches so if you find the coordinates to be significantly in error, please include updated coordinates in your log.
