Geocache Description:

This area used to be the home of Ray Edwards pool. I suspect that this park  (Central Park) saw a lot of action back in those days. There is now a large monarch butterly habitat restoration project on the west side of the park. It seems kind of lonely now. Parking is availble at the park entrance on Seerly Blvd. You will also notice some old metal pipes sticking out of the ground at the park's entrance. These pipes have small turbines attached. I inquired about these pipes to an old CF resident and he informed me that before this area was the pool it was a landfill. I think the pipes have something to do with exhausting gas that is formed in landfills.  When you find the cache do not remove the log holder from the cache. Make sure the lid is on. You will need to bring your own pen.
