Nikšić Tourist Spots #2:  Trebjesa

Nikšić Tourist Spots:  I have been visiting Montenegro's second city, Nikšić, since 2001. I love the city and love the people and there are some amazing spots in the city that make this an amazing location for a couple of days tourism and exploration that are well off the beaten track. This series will help you explore some of these places!

Trebjesa

The hill of Trebjesa proudly keeps watch over Nikšić city centre.  The ascent by foot is approximately 130m with a great hotel and restaurant near the top.  There are numerous footpaths and bike trails up and around the hill which provide hours of relaxation around the pine forest that climbs from top to bottom with many great views of different parts of the city.

To the cache....

The cache is a short walk from the city centre (or could be a "park and grab" if you are driving up to the hotel/restaurant!).  Nothing too complex but do take a moment to enjoy the view!  

lt is certainly recommended making the extra hike and searching for the superb original Trebjesa geocache!
