Goonoowigall State Conservation Area . Goonoowigall Lies in the lands of the Jukumbul people and its name is a Jukumbal word meaning Wallaby rocks. There are fasinating rock formations all along these track.
The Slot is a short walk running off Middle creek track which runs between Cunninghams Lane car park and Staggs Lane car park.
It is also accesable from the main entrance to Goonoowigall State Conservation area via Thunderbolts Circuit track. using Link tracks. There are two link tracks off the Thunderbolts Circuit. If you start the Thinderbolts Circuit from the car park and walk clock wise, use the Link track to the left and turn right at the end, if walking counter clock wise turn right onto the Link track and turn left at the end.
The main car park area has Coverd BBQ area and toilets. The tracks are relatively well maintained and clearly signed.
