It is with great excitement that we have placed this cache here at the Heart of Virginia Council Leadership Center. Our family has proudly Scouted with HOVC since 2010, and are grateful they are leading our sons and hundreds of local boys and girls on their trail to advancement, helping us to learn important life skills and gain an appreciation for the outdoors, and forging lifelong bonds between Scouters and their families. Scouting instills important values in our youth and the larger community. Through the Scout Oath and Scout Law, we promise to serve God and our Country, care for ourselves and others, practice unwavering ethics, and treat people as we wish to be treated.
As Cub Scouts, our motto is "Do Your Best," and in Scouts BSA, we pledge to "Be Prepared" and "Do A Good Turn Daily."
