This walk begins at Garnqueen Loch, which is situated in the village of Glenboig; known for it's rich, industrial heritage. It ends at one of the network of backroads to Annathill (one of the many previous mining villages in the area). The walk is not a circular route, but there and back measures approximately 1 mile. This is a great area for families to visit, and the loch is a popular destination for various wildlife. There is also a fantastic play area for the kids.
