All water or mountain views are a draw for me, the McLeod river falls into that category. You can park at the dayuse area and walk the fairly easy trail that winds along the river side for a nice hike. You will encounter great river views, wild roses and all types of trees. If you do not have the time for the hike, you can park along the side of the entrance road (pull off the roadway into the grass) and approach the trail easily from there. Height will be to your advantage when searching for this cache. Please be careful when removing and replacing the cache. I have been inspired by cachers who create artistic or creative hides. My son and I have been searching for "just the right" location for this type of hide. I hope that the search brings as much fun to you as it did to me to come across this site.
