Nikšić Tourist Spots #3: City Centre Multi
Nikšić Tourist Spots: I have been visiting Montenegro's second city, Nikšić, since 2001. I love the city and love the people and there are some amazing spots in the city that make this an amazing location for a couple of days tourism and exploration that are well off the beaten track. This series will help you explore some of these places!
City Centre
From lunch time until late at night the centre of Nikšić is always full of life and a wonderful place to enjoy food, drink, good company and see some fascinating buildings and architechture that tell the story of the city over the last 130 years or so. The centre was designed by Croatian architecht Josip Slade at the end of the 19th century and the streets and buildings radiate north and east from the 'Skver' which is now the cities busiest road junction.
