NTS#4 Tsar's Bridge Traditional Cache

Unfortunately there's been some continuing issues with this cache and there is no reaction from the owner. Since the cache no longer meets the Guidelines requirements, I am archiving it. I'm also archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you think you have legitimate reasons for lack of maintenance and want to restore the cache in the near future, please let me know as soon as possible by the email provided in my profile. The message must include the GC code and the name of the cache. If the cache meets the requirements of the Guidelines and the reasons for unarchiving are justified, I may unarchive the cache.

IMPORTANT:
In case of permanent archiving of the cache, the owners are obliged to remove everything that they have placed on the field in relation to the cache (container and all placed waypoints).

Nikšić Tourist Spots #4:  Tsar's Bridge // Carev Most

Nikšić Tourist Spots:  I have been visiting Montenegro's second city, Nikšić, since 2001. I love the city and love the people and there are some amazing spots in the city that make this an amazing location for a couple of days tourism and exploration that are well off the beaten track. This series will help you explore some of these places!

Tsar's Bridge

Built in 1894 and opened by the then Prince Nikola, the Tsar's Bridge is an impressive 269m long and can be found less than 5km from the city centre on the old Danilovgrad road out of Nikšić.  The River Zeta is now constrained by concrete fortifications but the original water course could become very broad, hence the length of the bridge.  Nowadays it is a quiet spot out of town with lots of wildlife and the chance to rest and enjoy some peace.

 

To the cache....

You will need to head down to the water and cross the footbridge to begin your search.  Maybe use a stick to aid your search as there is the possibility of venomous snakes in the area.  Please make sure you cover the cache well after you have logged as people do sometimes come and sit here for a drink and relaxation.

 

For NTS BONUS ANSWER 'D':  From the footbridge you can see a board measuring the depth of the water.  The top number = D.
