Geocache Description:

The container is not located at posted coordinates. Use the historical marker to get the coords to the 2nd (and final) stage.

When I was a kid, I read Laura Ingalls Wilder's books about growing up on the prairie. While her family never settled in Nebraska, this is your chance to get a glimpse of what the Great Plains looked like prior to the late 19th century, before white settlers arrived with their plows to tame the wild prairie.

Lori of WadeLori and I stopped here to find the cemetery cache up the hill. Lori's little grandson was with us, and we figured schlepping a 2-year-old up that hill through the grass wouldn't be a good idea, so while I found the cache, Lori checked out the historical marker at posted coords, fished a caching container out of her trunk, and even scouted out a location. Normally, Jimmy63 is the one to place NEHM multi caches, but we figured this will give him a chance to actually *find* one!

The final is located at N41 35.ABC  W096 10.DEF

A = Cuming City's main street is on present-day Highway 7___.
