There are not a lot of walking trails in this area so it's nice to come out to Mt. Zion to walk around the lookout. Depending on the time of year you might catch some wildflowers and if the weather is nice you'll get a clear view of Mt. Diablo and Sacramento to the West. The cache is simple, probably too easy for this area, but it's a little hike to get there and this is what I had on me when I was last there. Enjoy the walk!
