Im Ortszentrum von Winklern steht ein mächtiger, aus starken Bruch- und Mauersteinen erbauter Turm, der die Geschichte dieses Ortes geprägt hat. Er wurde urkundlich erstmals im 14. Jahrhundert erwähnt und ist heute das Wahrzeichen des Ortes. Zu ausgewählten Zeiten werden hier Sonderausstellungen gezeigt.

In the center of Winklern stands a mighty tower built of strong quarry and masonry stones, which has shaped the history of this village. It was first mentioned in documents in the 14th century and is now the landmark of the village. Special exhibitions are held here at selected times.
