This attractive wood sits on the low rolling lands of the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. Comprising a mixture of broadleaf trees it is easily accessed via footpath from the village of Bassingbourn.
Walked past, and sometimes through, this wood many times over the last year (and before!). Usually quiet and though small it's paths seem to go in a way that I used to come out in the wrong place, or backtrack accidentally. Sometimes still do
