都道府県魅力度ランキング2020最下位の栃木県ですが、ジオキャッシングではとても魅力的な県です。旧栃木県と宇都宮県が合併し栃木県が誕生した6月15日を記念して、2021年の県民の日に栃木にゆかりのあるジオキャッシャーが募りキャッシュを公開しました。

The 15th June is Tochigi Citizens’ Day. Tochigi Prefecture was established on June 15, 1873 with the merger of Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya Prefecture. Celebrating this day, Geocachers loved Tochigi have published caches.

堀田佐野城址公園は、堀田佐野城(植野城)の居館跡に作られた公園です。
ウェイポイントの堀田佐野城解説版、佐野城郭図の石碑も併せてご覧になると、堀田稲荷神社(部分的な土塁跡の上にあり、国道50号からも見ることが出来ます)や庭園広場を中心とした居館跡をより楽しむことが出来るかもしれません。
キャッシュは館跡にある公園内に設置しました。

Hotta Sano Castle Site Park is a park built on the ruins of Hotta Sano Castle (Ueno Castle). Please also see the waypoint's Hotta Sano Castle explanatory panel and the Sano Castle Map stone monument. You may be able to enjoy the ruins around the Hotta Inari Shrine (located on a earthen walls (of fortification), which can be seen from Route 50) and the garden square more.
The cache is located in the park.
