This geocache is hidden with permission of Lake Metropark and is only a few steps east/southeast of a switchback loop along the official dirt mountain bike trail, not too far from the nearby gravel trail. The trail map is posted on a signboard in the parking lot. Please stay on the trail until you are near the geocache location. No need to bushwhack. Dogs are allowed, but they must be under control and on leash. I have hidden three other caches along this scenic loop, along with this one, so the hike will be worth your geocaching time:).
Note: Dirt trail can be muddy or slippery in wet weather so wear appropriate footwear.
