Kotai Temple was initiated in Nagasaki as a Buddist Temple in 1604, over 400 years ago. Located within walking distance from the traditional city center, it is an important and popular place for long time Nagasaki citizens.
Stop by and walk around the quiet temple grounds to feel the history. If you have time, go up the hill on the back side of the temple and you will have a great view of Nagasaki City.
Cache container is located along a narrow stair path on the mountain side of the temple. Small pill bottle camoed to match with its surroundings.
