A few years has gone by since I completed The Ultimate Goonies Adventure, I knew I want to make a Wherigo from my favorite movie that I've watched over a hundred times. I've memorized so many of the lines and I'm sure if you've seen this movie then you would understand how it is a timeless classic.
So now there's a Wherigo to fulfill my vision, I dubbed this area as Hill Valley, There are bike trails all along and all of the places you will visit can be done by bike, with the exception of the final. You can walk this but I recommend a bike because by the time you're done it'll be close to 4 miles.
Completion should take 1-2 hours typically by bike and of coarse much longer if you walk. Please be aware of the park hours sunrise-sunset and respect others you meet on the trail.I really wanted to put in much more from the movie because all of the scenes deserve to be done but then if I did that, this would take 5 hours to complete so put in some of the main storylines.
There is one chase scene at the Twin Pines Mall, get to the "get away/end of chase" zone. When you approach the curve, DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGE, stay on the trail south of the bridge. The end is at the T section. Be careful because you wil have a lot of speed coming down the hill. It's a blast! Don't wipe out!
Make sure your phone is fully charged and the GPS has good batteries as this may take awhile but well worth it once you complete this.
The final is located where you may run into poison ivy and thorns on the way and could have some water after a lot of rain, so be prepared. Print out the map below to help you navigate the trails to get to the next stage, I highly recommend using the map navigate so you don't end up going on the wrong trail. .
There is a special prize for the FIRST TO FIND, and remember don't take all of the flyers, just one please, I will ocassionally refill the flyers..
