Named after Norman Sorley and the township of Bell. The land was donated by Mr N Sorley.
The children enrolld on the first day were Robert Edward Armstrong, Elsie Ray, Dorothy Joan and Maurice Berkley Keys, Lionel Earl Krienke, Ian Murdock, Keith and Sheena Katie, Christina McClelland, Gilbert Laurence, Kevin Dougles and Nola Elva Moseling, Annie Dell, Helen Dorne and Marite Jessie Russell, James Arthur and Gordon William Sorley.
