Scrane End, like many of the hamlets referred to in this series, isn't exactly the kind of place you'd write a song about. No one sang, 'Scrane End, Scrane End, so good they named it twice', or 'Going loco, down in Scrane End'. It's not on a major route, so you'd never hear 'By the time I get to Scrane End, she'll be rising' as you'd never be on a road trip through here in the first place! It's hardly a party destination either, like Vegas and so would never be a place to get your kicks. If you ever planned to motor west, you might start here, but it would never be your destination!
