Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the Mickelson Trail. You must have a pass in order to ride or walk the trail. Passes are $4 per day or $15 for an annual pass.

The Mickelson Trail is 108.8 miles long starting in Edgmont and ending in Deadwood. There are many scenic places all along the trail. No motorized vehichles are aloud on the trail, but biking, walking, running and horseback riding are allowed. Enjoy the scenery and views on your adventure!

This cache is located on the Sheep Canyon rest stop. I placed this with a good friend of mine while training for riding the entire Mickelson in June. Rattlesnakes are present in the area. There is a lavatory and a well for those who need and a plaque so you can read about the Train Without an Engineer. Take a moment to view the beautiful red cliffs of the canyon. Please hide the container well, as there are a lot of muggles in the area. Thanks for looking and good luck!

Congrats to Chill and Julie Too and Pintail11 on FTF!
