The Mission:
Launch date: June 21st 2021
Frequency: 1 unit every four days
Number of units: 8 (+ 1 bonus)
Several locations were carefully selected to establish much needed checkpoints in urban and residential areas in Arlington.
The caches are in different states of camouflage and terrain will vary. When making contact with each unit, use appropriate stealth to keep the location uncompromised. Each title and description of the geocache hint to the its whereabouts, therefore there are no additional hints in this series.
Mission Objective: Find a clue in each cache to discover the location of GeoTrail: HQ bonus cache. Reward awaits the first 3 cachers to reach the HQ (no puzzle solving needed).
- Do not remove the clues. Please, report any issues without delay. -
Ground Zero:
Where the end of a quiet street meets a busy traffic artery bisecting Arlington. Watch out for muggle joggers, muggles walkers, muggle drivers and muggle bikers and any non-descript muggles, too.
Street parking is available nearby.
The geocache:
A tool (tweezers) is recommended.
A two-storey house, only one monkey hiding behind a window. It likes the view from the top floor.
Using this container felt almost like violating a copyright, so this cache is a tribute to the one and only, most authentic of all: TheUnstealthy Monkey!
Bring your own pen, the monkey couldn't be trusted with one. Hopefully it can be trusted with the clue to the bonus!
Logging Requirements:
No physical log = no smiley.
