If you don't do football. That's ok. This is a seldom used path that really deserves further exploration. This cache has been placed to commemerate the Euro 2020 (as it should have been). One of those tournaments you try and avoid where a load of blokes chase a ball around for a month and people dangle St George's flags from their cars. These are in a series and to find the final one you will need to collect the information in the log book. Go find the cache!! . No need to read any more.
If you do do football.. It don't seem it but 15 years ago I placed a cache which is still there entitled the "Reebok Stadium", to commemorate my love for Bolton Wanderers. As a result I was asked to place a cache to mark the Euros. It can't be just any club it can only be one of the best ever 20 in terms of league placings in English football. I've supported BWFC for about 40 years now and it was a surprise to me even that BWFC fall into this category. Especially given our recent troubles. Not that long ago the club was in danger of not existing at all. In the 15 years since "The Reebok Stadium" was placed Bolton have bounced around the leagues but for now at least we seem to be on an upward curve :)
