ABOUT THE PARK:
We are so excited for this new addition to Sammamish's parks!
The land for Big Rock Park Central (along with Big Rock Park North and the future Big Rock Park South) was generously gifted to the city by a Sammamish resident, Mary Pigott, and you will find audio recordings of Mary's stories about the land throughout the park. In one story, Mary says her desire is that this will be a place for people to get muddy, pick berries, and just be.
Take your time to enjoy this park. It is home to short walking trails, open fields, a custom treehouse (limited hours and reservations required as of June 2021), a heritage garden, and the historic Reard House (currently closed to the public while it's being restored).
Please respect park hours: 6:30 am - Dusk from April - September and 7:30 am - Dusk from October - March.
ABOUT THE CACHE:
You are looking for a plastic ammo container just a few steps off the trail, over a fallen log, and behind another large fallen tree. You really can't miss it!
