Tribeč
Tribeč mountains lays between the towns of Nitra, Partizánske and Zlaté Moravce. The highest mountain is Veľký Tribeč at 829.6 m (2,722 ft), the whole mountains is around 35 kilometres long. Nevertheless, many visitors agree that the atmosphere of this place is very specific.
The secret of the Tribeč mountain
This mountain range is said to have witnessed events over many decades that do not allow people to sleep to this day. Located between four important cities, people often refer to it as the Bermuda Quadrangle. For more than 70 years, there have been cases of disappearances of people who have nothing in common. However, they all disappeared without a trace, in the depths of the Tribeč forests, without their families being able to find out what really happened to their loved ones ...
Surroundings
There are many interesting places nearby that are worth your visit.
Near the recreation area Remitáž there is a dam lake used for swimming, water sports and fishing. Swimming is at your own risk, because according to the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic, the quality of the water in the lake is not sufficient for such use. There is also a pond near the Jelenec reservoir, but this is only used for fishing.
The protected area Jelenecká gaštanica is located about 5 km north of the village Jelenec, its area is 3.8 ha. It was declared a protected area in 1986, as a result of efforts to save the old forest in Tríbeč. Gaštanica is the most beautiful and oldest artificially established stand of edible chestnut, which has successfully acclimatized in the environment of oak-hornbeam forests. You can discover trees 300 or more years old here. The area is located on the northwestern slope of Dúň hill at an altitude of 430 - 450 m above sea level, it is the remnant of an old edible chestnut plant planted in 1240-1241 by Count Forgách from Gýmeš Castle.

MUST order to ensure enough social facilities and showers. It makes a difference whether there will be 6 tents or 50, so with your order I can decide, if it is necessary to provide the mobile toilets. Payment upon arrival, no cancellation fees.
Food and refreshments will be provided within the complex, but it is also possible to use the surrounding buffets.
