Geocache Description:

The Peacekeepers Park in the town of Angus, near CFB Borden, was established in August of 2011.  The wall bears the names of Canadians killed on United Nations and other peacekeeping missions, as well as in Afghanistan.  At the time of the dedication the list of names was 274 souls long, including missions from 1951 until 2011.  Sadly, more names have been added since the first dedication ceremony. A Lynx armoured reconnaissance vehicle proudly sits in the park, and a short path is being constructed to lead past makeshift UN observations posts and information plaques.

Happy hunting!
