Vrh Čuker se nalazi na 1359 metara nadmorske visine na vencu koji je po mnogima jedan od najlepših mesta na Zlatiboru. Šetnja do njega kao i boravak na njemu će vam sigurno veoma prijati. Tu se verovatno više nego bilo gde na Zlatiboru oseća “ruža vetrova” tj. ukrštanje kontinentalnih i primorskih vazdušnih struja koje u kombinaciji sa četinarima i drugim biljkama deluju veoma povoljno na zdravlje. A zbog kojih Zlatibor nazivaju i “vazdušnom banjom”. Do vrha možete stići iz centra jednom od omiljenih rekreativnih “staza zdravlja” koja vodi preko spomenika. Možda će vam delovati visoko i daleko kada pogledate od spomenika, ali ne odustajte od šetnje dovde jer svakako vredi.
Čuker (1359m) is the second highest peak on Čigota. It is considered by many as one of the most beautiful places on Zlatibor. At the top you can feel the famous “Wind Rose”, the inter-crossing of continental and see air currents that, together with pine trees ad other regional plants, have a very positive impact on human health. This is also the reason why Zlatibor is sometimes referred to as an Air Spa. There is a well liked (and often used for health excursions) walking trail that takes you from the center of Zlatibor all the way to the peak, passing the Monument near the Center. The peak might seem very distant from the Monument, but don’t give up. The walk takes some time, but it’s not very straining and with a couple of breaks where you can enjoy the open, almost 360° view you’ll make it with ease. Be sure to bring a water bottle with you. Once you get there, you will have a view that will take your breath away. If you don’t have a really bad luck of choosing one of the rare rainy days, be ready to spend at least 30 minutes just sitting on the top, contemplating life.
