April 21st 1955, a RCAF Piasecki H-21 rescue helicopter hit the fog covered mountainside, 3 of the 5 people onboard perished. This geocache is placed down by the wreckage on Hunters Creek. It's about 600 meters to the wreckage and you can expect to loose 150 meters in elevation. The rough trail is steep and unmaintained, but there is orange and pink flagging tape to mark the way. The cache is a small locnloc hidden about 9 paces from the cross. When looking at the cross the cache would be at your 5 o'clock position. Check the spoiler pic.
