I've visited many cemeteries while caching but this one is special. The farmland view is amazing and I have family interned here. This is a historical cemetery founded in 1898, it has pioneer graves and is still an active cemetery. The North Palestine Baptist Memorial Church was on this site from 1891 to 2010 when it was relocated to Adair to make way for more grave sites. Now there is a shelter for memorial events.
There used to be a cache in this cemetery but it went missing a few times and has been archived.
The North Palestine Cemetery Association is a nonprofit run by volunteers. Permission was obtained to hide this cache. They ask that you be respectful of this place, not walk on graves and visit during daylight hours. It is peaceful place and the scenery changes with the seasons.
The cache almost blends well with it's surroundings and should be a quick find. Please replace as found and bring a writing utensil.
