Fairy Way
Fairy Way is a real thing. It started with local community members adding painted rocks, fairies and fairy houses to a small section of mangrove-lined parkland in Deception Bay. Then, on 8 July 2020, an official council sign magically appeared to mark Fairy Way as a thing. You can even find it marked on Google Maps. So it must be real.
The cache
The cache has been placed to encourage visitors to Fairy Way. The cache has been hung close to but not in the middle of Fairy Way.
Please check the spoiler photo because I do not want geocaches to unwittingly damage Fairy Way.
The cache is a green bird house with geocaching stickers on the two actual cache containers. One contains a log. The other contains space for micro trackables.
This is not a hidden cache - it is a cache intended to encourage visitors to Fairy Way. Hence the clear description and easy rating.
The trackable
Signal from Fairy Way (TB9GXTB) is a trackable that is starting it's journey from this cache. It has been placed in the cache in the hope the FTF moves it on. Perhaps one day in the distant future, it will find other fairies to share stories with about Fairy Way.
Maintance
If the cache requires maintenance, please message CO. I live nearby and will come to look after the cache. If you happen to have maintenance tools with you, I welcome your help in maintaining the cache - I often take tools to maintain the caches of other COs too.
First to Find
Congratulations Nayfee and Chamad for a very fast shared FTF. I submitted the cache, went to beach volleyball and in that time, the cache had its first finders. Well done.
