All Saints Church Brauncewell

Though there has undoubtedly been a church at Brauncewell since the Saxon period, the oldest feature of All Saints is a grave slab in the nave that dates sometime between the 10th and 12th centuries. The church also retains its 16th-century octagonal font; much of the remainder comes from the 19th-century rebuilding.
Not surprisingly, given the few families that remain, the church was declared redundant in 1973 and is now cared for by the Lincolnshire Churches Trust.
The Cache
Because of Historical issues, the cache cannot be placed near the Church (It's an old medieval village) so this is an old fashioned Letterbox Hybrid cache which was the forerunner of hi-tech GPS Geocaching, I hope you enjoy it.
At the waypoint you will find an old, almost illegible sign describing Brauncewell Church, this is your waypoint for finding the Letterbox.
Travel 542m in a westerly direction (Ok, its the road back to the A15) where you will find the container behind a tree (left hand side of the road as you travel from the Church).
Please don't take the stamp and enjoy your trip to this lovely, out of the way Church.
